The cubs visited the Settlers Museum on 25 Aug we had a fantastic time with cubs dressing up in military uniforms, hiding in camoflage, playing games from earlier years, checking out the old type writers and phones and morse code machines.. They played docters and nurses in the MASH area and were very amused with the plastic limbs and stehoscopes.. We had cubs dressing up in high fashion from early last century.. One item of high amusement for the cubs was when they tricked Akela into touching the toy gun which gave me a little electric shock... mmmm... SOOO funny.... |

As you would all be aware by now.......1st Leumeah are going to SWASH.......AGAIN.
Our booking is for 7th February 2010 for 50 people. Please check out the following link http://www.nsw.scouts.com.au/uploads/subsites/water/ to find out more about this venue. If you still want to come please get your notes and deposits in to me ASAP. I currently have 17 people who have handed in notes and deposits. Thank you to those people. As it gets closer to the date we will organise car pooling and other arrangements. Please contact me if you would like any other information.

We are having a Leumeah Cubs only Camp on the weekend of 16 to 18 October..
This is the JOTA weekend..Cubs will have to opportunity to talk via the internet to cubs and scouts around the world..
Please keep these dates free for the cubs..
